The presidency of John Evans Atta Mills has run for nearly two and half years of the first term. It has been an eventful thirty months. There have been positive developments in some areas of governance, but progress has faltered in others, while governance deficits inherited from previous administrations are yet to be
addressed. In some instances, these deficits have in fact, worsened under President Mills’ tenure.
