Kweku Awotwi is an experienced international business executive with over twenty-five years’ experience working in the energy sector, mining and extractive industries, in Africa and the United States. He is the Managing Director of Tullow Ghana, the founder of African Precious Minerals Ltd and a principal of Triton Group Limited.
He also previously served as Manager of Business Planning and Analysis for Kaiser Aluminium & Chemical Corporation in Pleasanton in California, Chief Executive of Volta River Authority and as MD in charge of Strategic Planning and New Business Development at Ashanti Goldfields Company. He has also worked for GE/RCA and ITT, both in the United States of America.
Mr. Awotiwi serves as Chairman of Multimedia Group Limited, a Director of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited. He is an Electrical Engineer with a B.Sc. degree from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business.
