Improving Public Goods & Service Delivery in Ghana through an Informed Citizenry
Strengthening Demand for Accountability
‘I Am Aware’ is a non-partisan citizen empowerment initiative that gathers, analyzes and disseminates user-friendly socio-economic data on the state of public goods and service delivery in 261 districts in all 16 regions of Ghana.
The aim is to empower you – the citizen, particularly the poor and vulnerable, to improve your awareness and engagement with duty-bearers to make them more accountable and responsive.
‘I Am Aware’ does this by providing you free, accessible and user-friendly information on the state of public goods and service delivery in districts/constituencies to strengthen demand for accountability in Ghana.
We hope that you will be armed with this handy information on the state of public service delivery in your districts/constituencies to be able to assess and evaluate the degree to which duty-bearers are fulfilling their obligations to you.
The initiative is spearheaded by the Ghana Center for Democratic Development’s (CDD-Ghana).
