Parliamentary Monitoring Organizations (PMOs) Africa

The project aims at creating fora for the sharing of and learning from the organizational experiences of participating PMOs as well as facilitating networking among them to advocate for strong and open parliaments that are representative of different groups of people within respective countries, accountable and responsive to the people.
Democracy Capture in Africa

The project is being implemented with the assumption that democracy has been hijacked to serve the interest of the few in a manner that it loses its effectiveness to address the problems of Africa. Multi-party democracy has produced material gains for the politically powerful and influential to the neglect of the majority of citizens.
Electoral Support Project

Ghana has made considerable gains since returning to democratic multi-party governance following the transitional elections in 1992. Since then, the country’s successive multi-party elections (seven in total) have generally been peaceful, although with pockets of violence in each election.
Youth Skills Training in Asutifi North District

Ghana struggles to meet the employment needs of its growing youth and adult population. It is estimated that over 71,000 university graduates join the jobless economy every year, compounding the already dire unemployment situation that faces basic and high school graduates and dropouts.
