Our Democracy and Governance Internship Program has been running since in 2009. It offers opportunities to Ghanaian university students intern with the Center. The internship program, runs in July up to September each year and seeks to nurture budding talents in democratic and governance processes, has trained over 25 promising young professionals since its inception.
Interns are usually placed with the Center’s Research, Programs and Advocacy unit, where they are mentored and guided areas such as research, advocacy, good governance, democracy, elections, social accountability, among others. of application and interviews in July CDD-Ghana also offers internship positions to undergraduate and graduate students from international universities through a competitive process.
Local internship opportunities are available all year round.
CDD-Ghana offers an All Year-Round internship program which provides learning and capacity-building opportunities to undergraduates, post-graduates and young professionals. The program exposes applicants to the operations of the Center and also gives them first-hand working experience in democracy and governance practice.
