Democracy and Governance Internship Program
CDD-Ghana’s Democracy and Governance Internship Program provides learning and capacity-building opportunities to undergraduates, post-graduates, since 2009, CDD-Ghana’s Democracy and Governance Internship Program has been offering opportunities to Ghanaian university students to intern with the Center. The internship program runs from June to August each year and seeks to nurture budding talents in democratic and governance processes. Over 25 promising young professionals have benefitted from this program so far.
Interns are usually placed with the Center’s Research, Programs, and Advocacy unit where they are mentored and guided in areas such as research, advocacy, good governance, democracy, elections, social accountability, among others. The program is open for applications in July.d young professionals. The program exposes applicants to the operations of the Center and gives them first-hand work experience in democracy and governance practice.
