Data for Governance Alliance confronts unconstitutional changes of government, calls for efforts to sustain democracy

The Afrobarometer-led EU project, Data For Governance Alliance (D4GA) held its second stakeholder convening in Accra to discuss democracy, governance, and human rights with West African civil society organizations and the African Union organs.

The participants tackled unconstitutional change of government confronting Africa and proposed solutions. Participants also were given hands-on training on how to develop advocacy plans using empirical, relevant data such as the Afrobarometer data.
